KURALON K‑II™ can dissolve in water within several minutes.
A wide range of dissolution temperatures can be tailored through proprietary PVA formulations and advanced fiber processing technology. We offer grades that dissolve in room-temperature water.
In addition, optimized fiber grades are available for both textile and nonwoven applications.

Biodegradability of KURALON K-II™ WN2 Grade
The biodegradability of WN2 grade in water has been verified by a third‑party laboratory in accordance with ISO 14851.
Under appropriate microbial conditions, aqueous solutions of dissolved WN2 grade biodegrade within approximately two months.
Biodegradability (%) was evaluated based on CO₂ evolution by microorganisms.
WN2 grade achieves over 90% biodegradation within 56 days under aerobic aqueous conditions.
